South
Africa is a diverse land, full of beauty and wonder.
It is located at the
southernmost tip of the African continent. On the east coast lies
the Indian Ocean, and the Atlantic Ocean on the west coast. It
is bordered on the northeast by Mozambique, on the north by Zimbabwe and
Botswana, and on the northwest by Namibia. Within the borders of
South Africa are the mountainous kingdoms of Swaziland and Lesotho.
South Africa has nine
provinces: Gauteng (the cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria along with the
Johannesburg International Airport are located here); Mpumalanga
(including the southern portion of Kruger National Park); Limpopo (home of
Antelope for Africa Safaris and the northern portion of Kruger National
Park); North-West; KwaZulu-Natal; Eastern Cape; Western Cape; Northern
Cape; and Free State.
The land mass covers
more than 1.2 million kilometers or 471,444 miles, which is three
times the size of the state of Texas and five times the size of Great
Britain. It covers only 4% of the African continent.
Antelope for Africa
Safaris will show you the best South Africa has to offer. Hunting
and photographic (sight-seeing) safaris may be combined letting you
experience more of South Africa. Take advantage
of our expertise and knowledge of South Africa.
Non-hunters may choose game
viewing, touring historical sites, touring wineries, shopping for
authentic African curios, diamonds and tanzanite, etc.
Tell
us what your interests are and we will design a photo safari just for your
interests and schedule considerations. Our
clients range in age from 5 to 80 years young, from hunters wanting to
experience more of South Africa to couples, families, and groups of
friends.
Each safari
is private and includes the service of
your own professional guide, all
meals and accommodation, transportation,
entrance fees to game parks. You only need to bring your camera and
film, personal spending money, and you are ready to "Let Your Spirit
Roam in Afrika".
Antelope for Africa Safaris
provides positive experiences for both tourists and local residents. We
believe in low human impact on the environment, sustainable utilization of
wildlife, and jobs for our local people.
So consider
a photo safari at the end of your hunt--spend some time viewing game at
Kruger National Park, visit the historical sites in Zululand, visit Cape
Town and Table Mountain, or perhaps the wine producing region of the
Cape. Outside of South Africa, Botswana's Linyati Swamps are on the
way to the magnificent Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe--a sight not to be missed!
