Burchell's Zebra prefer open savannah with grass and adequate water.
Their lifespan is approximately 35 years.
Individual stripe patterns are unique, the body is white with white
stripes alternating with dark stripes with lighter shadow stripes.
The shadow stripes along with smaller ears and longer manes, distinguish
Burchells' Zebra from Mountain Zebra.
They have very keen senses and enjoy a dust-bath. They are often
found near Blue Wildebeest.
